The wave is the typical Kerala apartment typology exposed and then modified. The project was intended as a high-rise accommodating maximum flats in its available space, with in the city premises of Trivandrum.
A small research was conducted on the apartments in and around the city, the most commonly used methods were studied. The sunshades, handrails, KMBR offsets, minimum common spaces, were exposed and modified into incontrovertible spaces and objects which finds parallel functions other than the ones intended to them.
The basic user group was also studied which inferred the lack of interaction between different families. Various interaction spaces were generated from the residual spaces and mandatory offsets creating spaces, which would promote a sky neighbor-hood concept.
