The plot was 2m above the small front access road. The site had buildings on three sides and one vacant plot on the West side, which would soon be filled by another residential development. The site lacked any interesting focal points on the lower levels but has the possibility of the hill views on the second floor. The challenge was to fit in the requirements into this small uninteresting plot. The first attempt was to manage the levels properly to fit in the spatial requirements. The building was conceived as individual spaces stacked along the vertical circulation path. The spaces were inward looking on the lower floors and open to the hill views on the higher floors. The vertical circulation path, the stairs lit and ventilated the other vice closed space.
